DragonBird Theatre have been running sessions in nurseries, schools and groups across the Bristol and the South West since 2012, working to instil a love for theatre, boost motor and language skills and support physical and emotional development. Our sessions have been developed to align with the EYFS structure, encouraging children to participate physically and verbally, sing along, move and engage with immersive and vivid worlds.
We’ve also recently been performing at libraries across the South West including Yate Library, Longlevens Library, Quedgeley Library, and will be appearing at the Bath and North East Somerset Festival of Libraries in 2026!
Length: 50 minutes
Capacity: Up to 35 children
Space required: Large room or small hall
All of our sessions include two performers, set, props, costumes and
all materials for games and activities.

Testimonials
“The sessions are beautifully held by the performers in a gentle and fun way, encouraging even the most hesitant children to play. They are extremely experienced and know exactly how to inspire and bring out the best in the children as well as the adults in the room! We always look forward to inviting DragonBird into our school ”
